My Pooch, Payton
Through emails and at book signings, I'm often asked about what type of dog I have. My four-legged pal is Payton. He is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix (best guess, although some see husky in him). I adopted him from a wonderful organization in Southern California called Pet Orphans.
